Inlineskating on Mallorca in April 2001

Day 6, tour 1. 22 April. A mountaintour.

Port d'Alcudia - Alcudia - road 222 northbound, after ca 3,5 km west on smaller road - Pollenca - road 710 up to Mosset - (car down to Coll de Sa Batalla) - skates road 710 up to Gorg Blau. (Car down.)
Skatingdistance: ca 43 km. (The others continued on a "lowlandtour" from Caimari but I went back to the hotel with the car to make a tour with my wife.)

It was necessary to arrange with a car to take us down from the two passes, it was to steep to skate down.

At Mosset, waiting for the car to bring us down to Coll de Sa Batalla. In 8 km we had climbed 530 meters without stopping. Left to right: Johan, Daniel, Mårten, me and Mats.

Going down from Mosset to Coll de Sa Batalla. It was necessary to arrange with a car to take us down from the pass, it was to steep to skate down. We were five skaters, a driver and two children in the car (a Renault Clio!) so every space had to be used.
