Rhein-Main Skate-Challenge, 74 km, Frankfurt a/M, 1 May 2007

Skater and photographer Frank Räcker generously sent me these photos from the
Rhein-Main Skate-Challenge.

The roads were closed for the classic bike race "Rund um den Henninger-Turm"
and a part of the course was used for the skate competition. Lots of spectators
were watching as we passed through the villages and the city of Frankfurt.

A very nice event - highly recommended for 2008!

I remember this. It was a 2 km uphill section at 22 - 24 km between Eppstein and Fischbach.
As we reached the top we were only three skaters left.

The weather was nice and I was in a good mood so I
skated the 13 km back into Frankfurt after the race.
