Stockholm Regin Inline, 24 August 2003, 134 km

Here are some photos from the competition Stockholm Region Inline. Only 27 skaters dared to start for the full distance; 134 km. We started in Västerås, went over Enköping and the finish was in Stockholm.

Ca 300 skaters chose the shorter distance (described as recreational) Enköping - Stockholm, 97 km.

The first pack with Tristan Loy passing through Enköping after ca 37 km.

Start of the "recreational class, 97 km" in Enköping ca 15 minutes after that the pack I was in had passed.

The second pack soon arriving in the village Grillby after ca 50-51 km. All the skaters in green suits are from club Södermalms IK.

And then they were three... Johan Håmås, Joel Eriksson and Tristan Loy.

A happy skater (me) crossing the finish line after 134,2 km. The finish line was outside the Stockholm stadium to avoid accidents on the tartan track inside.

Afterwards we continued to this symbolic finish inside the stadium.
