Ice skating in the Stockholm archipelago 26 Feb 2003 (Svart krabba)

Till dem som undrar (liksom jag undrade) vad svart krabba är lämnas en ledtråd här:

We started at Bromskär on the island Blidö and skated as far to the north and to the east as the ice was thick enough to carry us. When we came back we had skated 120 km.

It looked like we were going to have nice weather...

...but after a few kilometers we skated into fog.

For the rest of the day we had to navigate by GPS and the compass.

At the island Söderarm we had our first lunch. We did not get further to the north because a boat had made a channel through the ice.
